Some good quotes:
"Who doesn't want to be like [Jordan] as a receiver," Jaxon said. "I've got high goals, and I'm going to chase those goals and chase those dreams. I'm really striving to break his records at Texas. I don't know if that will happen, but it's just good vision for me and something I can go by, something I can dangle in front of my face and try to go after."and...
"I'm going to Texas because that's the best fit for me, and I love the coaching staff," he said. "Obviously, I could have picked somewhere else, but there's nowhere else in the country I'd rather go."
Some highlights from Brownwood v. Bridgeport 11/19/10:
My thoughts:
Texas is in dire need of a playmaker at the WR position. This is one prospect that could come in and have an impact like Mike Davis did last year. He's got big shoes to fill, but sounds like he's ready to take on the challenge. I for one am glad to have another Shipley on board. I can't wait to see him buckling defenders legs with the precise route running and exemplary technique his brother showed.
Hook 'em!!!
